GERRY RAFFERTY is a popular “music giant”, thanks to the song „Baker Street“. His career long predated that phenomenal fixture of top 40 radio. Indeed, by the time he cut „Baker Street“, Rafferty had already been a member of two extremely successful collaborations: The Humblebums and Stealers Wheel. The album, “City to City”, which spawned “Baker Street” was released in 1978. It was a melodic, yet strangely enigmatic album and sold, in millions around the world, topping the album charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

This new and much awaited album release “Life Goes On” features six unreleased tracks, from Gerry, including two Christmas carols and a beautiful cover of The Beatles song “Because”. Sitting alongside these gems, Gerry has lovingly re-mastered some of his favourite tracks from his last three albums: “On a Wing and a Prayer (1993), “Over My Head” (1994) and “Another World” (2000).
